Abstract

The article is devoted to the application of geographic information systems (GIS) in the environmental monitoring of the Bogdinsk-Baskunchak Nature Reserve, a unique territory with pronounced karst processes and high biodiversity. Using the example of analyzing the dynamics of karst sinkholes, mapping research routes and accounting for biological species, it is shown how the integration of GIS technologies increases the accuracy and efficiency of ecomonitoring. The use of mobile applications, satellite imagery, and multilayer maps has made it possible to automate data collection, optimize tourist flow management, and minimize anthropogenic impact. The results demonstrate that GIS platforms not only simplify the visualization of spatial data, but also contribute to the development of conservation strategies for rare species and vulnerable ecosystems. The article highlights the key role of GIS in the adaptive management of protected areas under increasing anthropogenic pressure.

Abstract

In addition to the risks associated with cutting metal, the ship dismantling process can also expose workers and the environment to a number of hazardous chemicals, one of which is insulation and polychlorinated biphenyls in cables. This article discusses environmentally friendly methods for the disposal of cable systems left over from ship dismantling. It analyzes the types of marine cables, the composition of the wires, and the possible environmental risks associated with their improper disposal. Existing and new concepts for multi-blade wire stripping of insulation and contaminants using a mechanical approach are considered and their environmental benefits are outlined.

Abstract

The article explores the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on social science students. It examines the dual role of AI as a potential ally in learning, facilitating the personalization of the educational process and easing access to information, and as an autonomous authority capable of fostering dependence and reducing critical thinking. The analysis is based on the results of an empirical study conducted among students of Russian universities studying sociology, political science, and international relations. The study aims to identify students’ perceptions of AI tools and assess their impact on learning motivation, autonomy in learning, and the development of analytical skills. Particular attention is paid to the ethical aspects of using AI in education and the potential risks associated with excessive reliance on algorithmic recommendations. Based on the data obtained, recommendations are proposed for the integration of artificial intelligence into the educational process of social sciences, promoting the development of critical thinking and student autonomy.

Abstract

The article discusses the improvement of educational technologies for engineering students by inte-grating programmed learning methods into the learning process. It analyzes the use of a branching programmed learning algorithm, which is used to create individual educational paths for students based on their psychophysiological characteristics. The article emphasizes the possibility of involving students in the learning process through various audiovisual effects and a system of individual bo-nuses, similar to what is implemented in computer games.

Abstract

The article addresses the problem of insufficient attention to the topic of video editing in the school informatics curriculum and offers a solution in the form of an original practice-oriented course. In the context of students' clip thinking and visual culture, video editing is viewed as an effective tool for developing creativity, critical thinking, and digital skills. Within the course, students go through all stages of video content creation – from idea and script to final editing – using free software tools, including DaVinci Resolve. The course materials are hosted on the CoreApp platform and include step-by-step instructions, tasks, and interactive elements. This article will be useful for informatics teachers, methodologists, educational program developers, and anyone interested in modernizing the learning process in accordance with the digital interests of today’s students.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the role of internship as an effective tool for the professional development of teaching staff in the context of modern educational challenges. The paper examines the key problems of modern education, such as the lack of a systematic approach to the methodological support of teachers and the need to adapt to technological changes. Special attention is paid to internships as a form of additional education that allows teachers to acquire practical skills and improve their professional competence.

Abstract

The article describes possible ways to apply methods for determining optimal logistics routes for vehicles in conditions of combining many points of origin and destination with sequential coverage of several intermediate points. The increased interest in the problem of finding the shortest routes is explained by the fact that this task is one of the stages in solving most problems related to cargo transportation. At the same time, the result of solving the problem directly affects both the delivery time of goods and the overall efficiency of the transport company. Various algorithms are used to solve problems of this kind. Dijkstra's algorithm is used in cases of determining the shortest path between start and end points both in programming automation of preparation and generation of initial data, and in routing transportation, and Little's algorithm is used to determine a circular route. A universal tool for such calculations is MS Excel, which is proposed to be used to solve optimization problems.

Abstract

A modern specialist in the technical operation of transport radio equipment must have theoretical knowledge, practical skills and abilities to develop the structure of the object of professional activity, select the parameters of equipment for technical diagnostics and its possible modernization. Therefore, within the framework of the educational process, complex methods of studying radio-electronic means based on individual objects of professional activity are used.

At the Department of Radio Electronics, one of the basic objects studied is the equipment of the ship's radio communication channel. The study of physical processes in a communication channel begins with the study of analog systems in junior courses. The aim is a theoretical study of classical methods of converting radio signals by linear and nonlinear radio circuits in transmitting and receiving devices. The visibility of transformations in order to form a holistic vision of the structure and functions of individual blocks and all communication channel equipment is provided by computer modeling in the Multisim software environment.

In senior courses, the object of research is digital radio-electronic devices that provide signal conversion in digital radio communication channels. Special attention in the learning process is paid to the relationship between analog and digital radio electronic devices; the features of sampling analog signals, synthesizing linear digital filters, and digital detection are clarified. Theoretical research is supported by computer modeling of the digital communication channel in Matlab Simulink, which allows analyzing the entire path of conversion of the low-frequency control signal by the receiving and transmitting equipment.

The introduction of this research methodology, which includes both theoretical study and computer modeling of processes in analog and digital radio engineering systems, into the educational process will increase the quality and effectiveness of the formation of professional competencies among future graduates of the specialty "Technical operation of transport radio equipment", increase their competitiveness in the labor market.
